National Youth Day is celebrated in China every year on 4th May. It was established by the Government Administration Council of People's Republic of China in December of 1949. It was established to honor the memory of the May Fourth Movement of 1919.

 MyStudyChina organize a wonderful event in order to celebrate the day. Many international and Chinese students were deliberately participated and take part in verity of activity. The event were held in the city center of Nanjing China.

Opening ceremony

The main event started at 1:30 pm by opening speech from Lesley Shen the CEO of MyStudyChina. On her opening address she welcomed all the international students and participants from different universities across china. In the opening speech she emphasize the importance of the National Youth Day. Further she asked all the audience to cultivate the sprit of youth and embrace the opportunity.

International Students experienced about China’s latest innovation and digital technology products:

After the opening ceremony international students were introduced China’s many latest innovative digital products.

Cultural Exchange: Participants had unique experienc and knowledge during the cultural exchange session.

Ben from Morocco:

A Moroccan student who studying in China for two years introduced his country and their couture. Participants were very excited to know about different countries and their culture especially Chines students. One Chinese students said  “ this the first time she is participating such kind of event ”. she also added that she really liked Moroccan culture especially their traditional food and cultural costumes.

Hillary From Zimbabwe:

Hillary a student from Nanjing University of information Science and technology also introduced his country and culture among audiences. While he was presenting Zimbabwe’s ceremonies and traditional dances grab the audience attention.

After the culture exchange session international students also got an opportunity to show their skills and English teaching ability to Chinese students. Many Chinese parents and students also tell us about their interest to hire international students to teach English to their kids. Later MyStudyChina share international students contacts to the interested party in order to help international students get English teaching job.

Closing ceremony:

The event ends at 5:30pm. Before the closing there was a session of QA  for the participants. Winners of the quiz were awards many gifts. It was a great event for both Chinese and international students to mark the National Youth Day.
