There are 862 full-time teachers in the university, including 522 supervisors for master degree students, 658 associate professors and above, out of whom, 30.63% have the doctoral degrees. At present, there are over 9700 full-time students in the university, including over 1600 postgraduates and over 300 international students.
Currently the university has 3 subject categories: Medicine, Management and Science, and 21 undergraduate majors. It also has 3 first-level Doctor’s Degree conferring disciplines, 8 first-level Master’s Degree conferring disciplines, and 5 professional degree conferring categories. Besides, the university has 5 nation-leveled characteristic specialties, 2 nation-leveled experimental teaching demonstration centers, 1 nation-leveled teaching team, and 1 nation-leveled off-campus practice teaching base.
At present, the university has 1 postdoctoral Sci-tech workstation, 1 training base for national key laboratory jointly founded by Sci-tech Ministry and the Autonomous Region, 1 key laboratory of Ministry of Education, 1 key laboratory jointly founded by Ministry of Education and the Autonomous Region, and 4 academician workstations.
In recent years, the university has successively won many honors, such as “National Civilized Unit”, “National May 1st Labor Certificate”, National Advanced Basic-level Party Organization, “National May 4th Red Banner Youth League”, National Advanced Unit for the Internal Auditing Work, and National Verdurization Model Unit, etc. It is one of the first batch model higher learning institutions with rich experience for graduate employment approved by Ministry of Education.
