Composed of four campuses, the University occupies an area of more than 3,700 mu. There are 25 schools, and one affiliated hospital which is one of the Grade 3 Class A hospitals. The University is eligible to offer 100 bachelor degree programs, 17 master degree programs, and 3 PhD programs, covering ten academic fields including literature, science, engineering, medicine, economics, law, education, history, management and art.

    There are more than 3,000 faculties and 35,000 full time students, among whom over 33,000 are undergraduates, over 2,000 are postgraduates, and over 700 are international students. Nantong University attaches great importance to international exchange and cooperation, and has maintained friendly long-term relations with more than 82 universities and institutions in the USA, Canada, the UK, Germany, Australia, Japan, Koran, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, including degree program, students exchange, faculty exchange, scientific cooperation, teachers training, etc.

    The scaling-up International Education of Nantong university started from the year of 2005. So far we have more than 700 international students from nearly 32 countries including the US, Japan, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Jordan, Namibia, Botswana, South Korea, Australia, Brazil, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand.

    All the majors in Nantong University are open to the international students. So far international students in Nantong University are working at bachelor degree programs, master degree programs and PhD programs in medicine, Chinese language and literature, international economic and trade, computer science, electronic and information, electric engineering and PE. and so on. Currently, the undergraduate programs taught in English medium include Clinical Medicine and International Economics and Trade (IET).
