A wonderful day begins by meeting with
my foreign friend. She is a very nice girl. Her name is Yulia and she is from
Russia. I was so curious and wanted to know her thought about China. At a time
I asked her how she came. And how did she find out to come to China? She started telling me her journeys. She saw some interesting news about China on Instagram
and VK (popular social media in Russia).
She said that she saw some very
beautiful universities campus on social media and started dreaming to study in China. By the way, she has a friend here in
China. She told her about China that life is very good and peaceful in China, China is a very beautiful country. Her friend helped her to admit to the university.
However I asked Yulia do you like
Chinese people? What do you like in China?
"If you are talking
about the people, then I think of all people as individuals. Therefore, I don't
see all of China as what I may find in one person. I expect there to be good
people and bad people and many people in between those two positions. That's
how it is with people. I generally find people interesting, and that includes
the Chinese people who are my classmates, or the ones with whom I have made
friends."
What is interesting for you in China?
And why do you like China?
"There are so many things to like
China, which make me comfortable to live and increase my interest to travel all
around China. If you are talking about the history, then
I am fascinated by Chinese history. I would love to see many of the places I
have read about."
"If you are talking about the land,
then there are many places in China I want to visit. I want to see the
attractive natural beauty of China in real."
"I
want to make it so I could see the Great Wall, learn more about the Silk Road, experience the country as
close to natively as possible, eat there, meet friends there, and carry those
friendships forward. The people and the culture are what make it interesting
for me. I'm much more interested in China, the people and the cultures."
Why did Yulia choose to study abroad in
China?
"First of all Chinese government
provide different categories of scholarship to the different level of studies. There
is affordable tuition fee and living expenses. Chinese technology is all over
the world now, and we're given the chance to learn from their development. I also wanted to nhance my global
experience and improve my carrier prospects, learn Chinese language and
discover Chinese culture. The universities in China are so beautiful and they all have fantastic environment to study."
How does she feel in China?
"I
feel myself very much favorable and satisfied in China. It is a very clean and
peaceful country with kindhearted people around. Chinese foods are very delicious
and cheap. There are no problems to travel here. The transportation system is
very good and comfortable. Honestly speaking I like China and I feel myself
much relax in China."
