Hainan University has 4 campuses. Based in Hainan, with a vision towards the whole country and in Southeast Asia, featuring tropic, marine, tourism and special economic zone, Hainan University offers 10 categories of discipline including: Philosophy, Economics, Law Science, Liberal Arts, Science Engineering, Agriculture, Engineering, Management, and Fine Arts. Hainan University has established co-operation with 166 partner universities and research institutions from 34 countries and regions in learning exchange, joint research, student exchange, and student internship.

    In recent years, Hainan University has greatly developed its education for international students, and has been authorized to offer the Chinese Government Scholarship, the Confucius Institute Scholarship and the Hainan Provincial Government International Student Scholarship to international students. It offers Bachelor, Master, and PhD degrees for international students.
