Xi'an Jiaotong University is located in the city of Xi'an, the ancient capital of 13 dynasties in China. The University has three campuses: Xingqing, Yanta, and Qvjiang.   Xi'an Jiaotong University has 33,604 full-time students including 16,505 postgraduate students. The university offers 85 undergraduate programs, 309 masters programs and 182 doctoral programs. Since 2011, Xi'an Jiaotong University began to promote English-medium Master programs for international students. By far, the English-medium Master programs available at Xi’an Jiaotong University are: Master of Management Science and Engineering, Master of Electrical Engineering, Master of Information and Communication Engineering, Master of Electronic Science and Technology, Master of Control Science and Engineering, Master of Computer Science and Technology, Master of Aeronautical and Astronautic Science and Technology, Master of Power Engineering and Thermal Fluid Science, Master of Nuclear Science and Technology, Master of Mechanical Engineering, Master of Theory of Literature and Art-Chinese Cultural Studies, Master of of Laws in Chinese and International Business Law, Master of Material Science and Engineering,  Master of Theoretical Economy, Master of Foundation Medicine and Clinical Medicine. Xi'an Jiaotong University has made great efforts to develop international communication. On 1995, XJTU initiated the English-medium Clinical Medicine Program for international students, which received both domestic and oversea compliments. Since 2000, XJTU has established cooperation with 145 universities and research institutions from 42 countries and areas including America, Japan, Britain, France, Germany, Italy, Singapore, Korea. The number of international students has also boosted. In 2016, there are 2200 international students from 115 different countries studying at the campuses. XJTU offers international students Chinese Government Scholarship, Confucius Institute Scholarship, Xi'an Jiaotong University Scholarship and Shaanxi San Qin International Student Scholarship, etc.
