INTRODUCTION
FJUT is a public university at the provincial level with a focus on practice and application. Its core offerings are in engineering, while integrating other disciplines such as management, arts, economics, liberal arts, science and law. It is one of the first national pilots of The Training Program for Excellent Engineers advanced by the Ministry of Education for colleges and universities and a provincial key university with the accreditation to award master degrees, listed as an intellectual construction station for cultivating future PhDs and an applied undergraduate demonstration university of Fujian Province. Situated in Fuzhou, the capital of Fujian Province in the southeast China, FJUT occupies an area of 136.88 hectares with over 24 thousand full-time students, 55 undergraduate majors and 7 master degree programs including Materials Science and Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Civil Engineering, Design, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Engineering Management.
